Celebrating International Women's Day 2023

Let's #embraceequity and work together today and every day to celebrate international women's day across the globe.

Today is #internationalwomensday and it’s one of 365 days in the year we need to keep this conversation rolling.

It’s how you talk.

It’s how you show your actions.

It’s as much what you say as it is what you don’t say.

Stand up for YOU, for your sisters, for your gals.

Remembering that if we are kind to each other. Women. Men. Children. Then everything is easier.

As we work together, because we're all in this together.

I also strongly believe that this conversation starts early, and it's something I talk to both my boys about, especially through reading books.

We have a book we read our boys called "Kind".

It's such a beautiful read. So simple, yet so effective.

The book talks about having kindness buckets.

"When we are happy the buckets are full, when we are sad the buckets are empty."

And the best line of the entire book?

"I like to fill people's buckets. I think being kind is cool"

And it is cool. It's cool to be kind.

That is another sentence we have continually in our house, "it's cool to be kind".

When it comes to standing up for us as women, it's not about putting others down. It's about equality and equity for all. Women, men, children of all ages, shapes and sizes. Of all races. Of all religions.

We are all as one.

It's about all of us together.

Working together to the same goal.

That's what International Women's Day is all about.
