What is your current profession and where are you based?

I am a qualified Personal Trainer, recently completing my Certificate III - IV in Fitness, along with my Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise certification. I am based in Queensland, Australia, and am currently in the process of launching my own business, "Her Strength Co.", specialising in women's health across all ages, including pre- and postnatal.

Why is helping pregnant and postpartum women so important to you?

After going through pregnancy and postpartum myself, I understand firsthand how physically and emotionally challenging that season can be.

After having my daughter, this is something I am extremely passionate about, and I would feel so happy if I could help other women navigate this stage. It can feel overwhelming knowing what is safe, what your body needs, and how to return to exercise.

I’m really passionate about supporting women in a way that helps them feel strong, confident and supported, rather than rushed or pressured.

What did you enjoy most about the PregActive Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Course?

I loved how practical and easy to follow the course was, while still being evidence-based.

It has given me the confidence to safely work with pre- and postnatal clients and helped me better understand the changes women go through during this time, particularly on the topic of C-sections, as this is not something I have experienced firsthand myself.

What do you plan to do now you are a Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist?

I plan to build my business around supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum, offering personal training that is tailored, safe and supportive. I want to create a space where women feel comfortable, understood and empowered in their bodies.

What would you say to a newly pregnant Mama-to-be who is nervous about starting exercise?

Start small and focus on consistency over intensity. Exercise during pregnancy doesn't need to be extreme to be beneficial.

Listening to your body and working with someone who understands pregnancy can make a big difference in helping you feel safe and confident.

What supportive words would you say to a new postpartum Mother to help her get started with her exercise?

Give yourself grace - your body has just done something incredible. There is no rush to 'bounce back.' Focus on rebuilding your strength slowly and safely and celebrate the small wins along the way.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I'm really passionate about helping women feel strong and supported through every stage of motherhood, and I’m so excited to be starting this journey.
