Oct 29, 2025

What a blessing it is having so many passionate graduates from our PregActive Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Course!

Anim from Ghana is no exception!

Here's here to help women in Africa enjoy a healthier, more enjoyable supportive pregnancy!

Let's meet Anim and see what he has to say..

What is your current profession and where are you based?

A dance-fitness instructor, community engager, influencing marketer here in Ghana.

Why is helping pregnant and postpartum women so important to you?

I recently discovered how powerful and strong especially Africa women are, but they see Pregnancy as a burden to humanity than a blessing, as almost 50% of them goes through this pregnancy journey successfully without enough support from their partners or families even although depression and trauma comes their way. As a man I want to empower pregnant women with these safe exercises incorporated with dance lessons to help alleviate their complications and sail them through these pregnancy and postpartum journey successfully.

What did you enjoy most about the PregActive Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Course?

I enjoyed the simplicity of the lessons videos and how detailed every topic is in this Course. This is Superb

What do you plan to do now you are a Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist?

My plan is to get funding or an investment to create my own company studio to start a new Prenatal and postnatal exercise training here in Ghana by next year.

What would you say to a newly pregnant Mama-to-be who is nervous about starting exercise?

Your pelvic floor is essential part of supporting your baby (and pelvic organs!) in pregnancy, so you have no choice than to make the muscles active now by exercising them!

What supportive words would you say to a new postpartum Mother to help her get started with her exercise?

Consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise routine.

Choose low-impact exercises to reduce the risk of injury.

Stay hydrated and avoid overheating during workouts.

Listen to your body and stop if you experience any pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

No, I can’t wait to hear feedback from my clients after both their childbirth and postpartum journey!
